My fifth grade students designed haunted houses, then colored them carefully with sharpie. They then painted the background with liquid watercolor for the final touch.

Halloween Coffee Filter Art
I absolutely love this project and so do my students. We simply folded a coffee filter three times. Then with markers, a design was created on both sides of the coffee filter, the same pattern on both. Afterwards we sprayed with a little water and let the coffee filter dry. Then haunted houses, trees, etc, were added with Sharpies and construction paper crayons.
Fourth Grade Watercolor Pumpkins
My fourth graders drew pumpkins, then outlined the pumpkins with glue. Then they painted the pumpkins with liquid watercolor and the glue really made the watercolor more vibrant!
Kindergarten Vampires
Kinder and First had a lot of fun with these! I borrowed this ideas from Pinterest. The students had fun adding their own personal touches!
